
Olive Young’s flagship store “Olive Young N Seongsu,” located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, has welcomed more than 2.5 million visitors in its first year, firmly establishing itself as a new cultural and commercial landmark. Since its opening, the presence of Olive Young N Seongsu has accelerated the rise of beauty-themed content throughout the neighborhood, transforming Seongsu into a “Global K-Beauty Hub.”

According to Olive Young’s trend report analyzing the Seongsu commercial district based on internal and external data, the floating population in the area increased by approximately 20 million between November last year and October this year.
Credit card transaction data from the same period show that the number of card payments in Seongsu rose by 5.81 million, with total payment value up by 490 billion KRW (approximately 336 million USD) year-on-year.
Notably, international card transactions surged 79%, far outpacing the 4% increase among domestic users. Olive Young N Seongsu also recorded the highest number of global customer transactions among all single stores in the area.
In the year following the store’s opening, international card transactions across all Olive Young stores in the Seongsu district grew by 592%, significantly exceeding domestic transaction growth (81%). As a result, the proportion of global customer sales at the six Olive Young stores in the district climbed from an average of 40% to 70% as of October this year.
Since Olive Young N Seongsu opened, the thematic focus of pop-ups in Seongsu has shifted toward K-Beauty. According to pop-up specialist “SweetSpot,” the number of beauty pop-ups held in the area increased to a monthly average of 14, up 75% from last year’s average of eight.

As a next-generation retail concept, Olive Young N Seongsu encapsulates the brand’s beauty retail expertise by offering distinguished customer services and fresh product curation in one of Seoul’s trendsetting districts for beauty, fashion, and F&B.
Through Olive Young N Seongsu, the company introduces new seasonal trends, proposes “Next Beauty,” and receives immediate feedback from local and global customers. More than 150 new brands have launched exclusively at this location, alongside new wellness-focused zones that suggest the evolving direction of beauty.

The store currently offers six specialized beauty-care services: AI-powered skin and scalp analysis, Find Your Color (personal color service), Men’s Brow Bar, Quick Touch-Up (focused point makeup), Pick Your Vibe (full makeup), and Home-Care Lessons.
This reflects a full redesign of the store from a shopping-centric environment into an immersive, experience-driven K-Beauty space. More than 30,000 customers have used the beauty-care services at Olive Young N Seongsu to date, with global visitors accounting for over half (54%). Global customers represent 87% of all skin-diagnosis consultations.
