CJ CheilJedang launches the 2024 CJ Global Internship, with emphasis on meaningful transition from internships to job opportunities CJ CheilJedang has launched the “2024 CJ Global Internship Program,” through which the participants have the chance to demonstrate their capabilities to secure full-time employment.  Amongst the variety of applicants, 18 outstanding candidates from various institutions such as Harvard University, Stanford University and MIT were selected. These individuals represent various nationalities, including the United States, France, and Singapore. The selection criteria included academic performance, job-related skills, interest in Korean culture and food, and commitment to long-term career development in Korea. Earlier this month, interns were selected to take part in an executive mentorship program, immersion in the CJ Group’s infrastructure, and various independent projects through August 2. Decisions on full-time offers will be made following an evaluation process. A Singaporean applicant shared her motivation for applying to the internship program, stating, “I’ve always been fascinated by Korea, particularly its cuisine, and saw this as an excellent opportunity to grow. She added, “I aim to contribute to promoting K-food, which is very popular globally, so that more people can experience its delights.” CJ CheilJedang has recently hired several overseas executives from multinational corporations and is actively seeking talented individuals who will play a key role in expanding its global business. The company is implementing international standards across work methods, organizational culture, infrastructure, and other areas to support this international expansion effort. With the growing popularity of Korean food worldwide, CJ CheilJedang aims to enhance its business competitiveness by recruiting top talent with insight into target regions’ local culture and market.
