Celebrate family, fresh starts and fierce competition with CJ ENM’s new lineup

May is Family Month in Korea. A time for togetherness, reflection, and, of course, great entertainment. tvN’s May lineup celebrates the season with new titles perfect for family bonding.
“Street Woman Fighter” returns with its third season — and this time, it’s going global. Premiering May 27, “World of Street Woman Fighter” will feature top dance crews from New Zealand, the U.S., Japan and Australia. Korea will be represented by BUMSUP, a team formed by the original leaders from Street Woman Fighter Season 1, along with fan-favorite LIP J.
Korea’s first drama about sober living also debuts this month. “Second Shot at Love,” an “alcohol-free romance” from the creators of “Drinking Solo,” premieres May 12. The series stars Choi Soo-young as a proud drinker who reconnects with her first love, played by Gong Myoung, only to find he’s entirely alcohol-averse. As she takes on the challenge of going dry for love, the story unfolds with warmth and wit. Supporting actors Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Sang-ho, and Jo Yoon-hee bring humor and heart to this refreshing twist on romance.
Another standout is “Our Unwritten Seoul,” a romantic coming-of-age drama about identical twin sisters who look the same but are completely different in every other way. After switching lives through a single lie, they embark on a journey for true love and self-discovery. The show, which premieres May 24, is already drawing attention for lead actress Park Bo-young’s impressive performance in four distinct roles.
There’s also a sports offering that’s sure to heat up spring: “Roland-Garros 2025.” This intense tennis tournament unfolds on the iconic red clay courts of Paris, France. Hosted by the French Tennis Federation, Roland-Garros is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments and the second major event of the year, following the Australian Open. The tournament will kick off on May 19.
“World of Street Woman Fighter”: The Ultimate Global Dance Showdown

Starring: BUMSUP and 5 other teams
The “Street Woman Fighter” phenomenon is back with a global twist. In “World of Street Woman Fighter,” six all-female dance crews from around the world go head-to-head in an electrifying competition.
The crews were officially revealed on March 26 via the YouTube channel, The CHOOM. Australia’s AG SQUAD is formed by key members who helped lead the legendary ROYAL FAMILY during its golden era. Korea’s BUMSUP reunites season 1’s iconic leaders along with LIP J. The U.S. is represented by hip-hop crew MOTIV, led by old-school dancer Marlee. Japan sends two distinct teams: OSAKA Ojo Gang, a crew rooted in street and battle culture, and RHTokyo, known for elaborate choreography and refined performance. From New Zealand comes the world-renowned ROYAL FAMILY itself.
With pride, passion, and national spirit on the line, these six elite crews are set to deliver unforgettable performances on a global stage.
“Second Shot at Love”: Choi Soo-young and Gong Myoung’s Sobering Romance

Starring: Choi Soo-young, Gong Myoung, Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Sang-ho and Jo Yoon-hee
From the creators of “Drinking Solo” comes a refreshing twist on the classic K-drama love story.
Han Geum-joo (Choi Soo-young), a reasonable drinker, reconnects with her first love Seo Eui-joon (Gong Myoung), a man who despises alcohol. As old feelings resurface, Geum-joo begins to attempt the unthinkable: going sober for love. The undeniable chemistry between the lead actors, Choi Soo-young and Gong Myoung, has fans eagerly anticipating their performances.
Adding comic flair and emotional depth, Geum-joo brings a delightful twist with the humorous sobriety challenge of the hard-drinking family — Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Sang-ho, and Jo Yoon-hee — whose own hilarious attempts at sobriety add another layer to the story.
In a new teaser, the lakeside scene highlights the charm of Korea’s first-ever “sobriety-encouraging” romance. There, Han Geum-joo (Choi Soo-young) and Seo Eui-joon (Gong Myoung) slowly begin to get closer — until Geum-joo suddenly stumbles, off-balance, cheeks flushed. “I met someone harder to quit than alcohol,” the voiceover says wistfully.
With warmth, humor, and a wholly original concept, “Second Shot at Love” offers something new in the world of K-romance.
“Our Unwritten Seoul”: Park Bo-young’s Four-Role Acting Challenge

Starring: Park Bo-young, Park Jin-young and Ryu Kyung-soo
“Our Unwritten Seoul” is a romantic coming-of-age drama that dives deep into themes of identity, ambition, and love, all through the lens of one fateful lie.
Yu Mi-rae is a perfectionist climbing the corporate ladder in a government-led enterprise, while her twin Yu Mi-ji, is a former track-and-field athlete who gave up on her dreams after a tragic accident. Bouncing between short-term jobs, Mi-ji struggles to find direction. Despite looking identical, the sisters couldn’t be more different — until one lie forces them to switch lives.
Park Bo-young delivers a breakout performance, playing both twins and each impersonating the other — a nuanced quadruple-character challenge that demonstrates her acting prowess and is already generating buzz among fans.
“Our Unwritten Seoul” promises intrigue, emotional nuance, and a fresh take on what it means to find your own identity.
The Race Toward the Next Clay Court King: “Roland-Garros 2025”

Who will leave their mark on the legendary red clay court?
“Roland-Garros 2025,” the second of four annual Grand Slam tournaments, is set to kick off May 19 on the historic courts of Paris. As the only Grand Slam on clay, the tournament is famous for its physical demands and tactical play.
Matches are set to unfold on the iconic Court Philippe-Chatrier, located in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, with its signature terre battue (clay court) surface made from finely crushed brick. All eyes will be on defending champions Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Świątek, who won the men’s and women’s singles titles at Roland-Garros 2024.
