TVING has solidified its position as the leading K-content streaming platform with its 2025 content lineup
Building on CJ ENM’s 30-year cultural journey and the growing anticipation for tvN’s upcoming series, TVING, the game changer of the K-content streaming industry, is also solidifying its position as Korea’s leading streaming platform. With new genres and fresh storytelling expected this year, it is set to captivate an even broader base of global audiences.
Its original series, “The Queen Who Crowns” and “Study Group,” which have already ranked in the weekly TOP 5 across 143 countries and regions, demonstrate the streaming giant’s global appeal. Additionally, “EXchange: Another Beginning” has further proven TVING’s ability to expand content in exciting new directions. Notably, all these releases have ranked No.1 in paid subscribers, generating an overwhelming response from audiences.

TVING has unveiled three key themes for its 2025 content lineup: “Infinite spectrum,” “signature content” and “immersive sports.” For its “infinite spectrum” theme, the platform aims to offer a diverse array of series spanning multiple genres, ensuring a rich and varied viewing experience. Among the most anticipated upcoming releases is “Dear X,” a melodic thriller directed by renowned filmmaker Lee Eung-bok and based on a popular webtoon. Other notable titles include the unique historical romance “The Scandal of Chunhwa” and the fantasy youth romance “Way Back Love,” starring Gong Myoung and Kim Min-ha. Academy Award-winning screenwriter Han Jin-won, best known for “Parasite,” will also make his directorial debut with “Running Mate.” Additionally, TVING is expanding its hit original film “Shark: The Beginning” into a full-fledged series with “Shark: The Storm,” further diversifying its content portfolio.
Under its “Signature Content” theme, TVING is showcasing its flagship IPs, including the highly anticipated fourth season of “EXchange” as well as new installments of fan-favorite “Great Escape: The Story,” known for its immersive and innovative world-building. The “Immersive Sports” lineup is also generating excitement, featuring sports variety shows designed to captivate audiences. Upcoming highlights include “Kim Seong-geun’s Winter Vacation,” where legendary baseball coach Kim Seong-geun shares his expertise; a new season of “Baseball Representatives,” a discussion-based show with key figures from the sport; and Korea’s first-ever cheerleading variety show, “Fight Song.” Additionally, starting in March 2025, TVING will launch year-round sports coverage, including live 24/7 broadcasts of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League, basketball, soccer, mixed martial arts and all four major Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
Further expanding its variety slate, TVING will premiere the second season of “Shaman: Whispers from the Dead,” a documentary that pioneered Korea’s occult storytelling.
