CJ announced that 13 affiliates and business divisions, including CJ CheilJedang, CJ Logistics, OLIVE YOUNG and CJ ENM, will begin open recruitment for the second half of 2026 on September 16. The number of new hires will increase by more than 40% compared with the same period last year, making this CJ’s largest recruitment drive in four years. The expanded recruitment comes amid growing global interest not only in K-content but across the broader K-lifestyle landscape, including food and beauty. CJ aims to proactively secure talent who can drive the Group’s future growth. Applications will be accepted through the CJ Group recruitment website (recruit.cj.net) until 5 p.m. KST on September 30. Candidates who pass the document screening and assessment stages will proceed through affiliate-specific recruitment processes. Successful candidates are scheduled to participate in the Group’s onboarding training in January 2027. Guided by its long-standing talent-first management philosophy, CJ has continued its open recruitment program into its 70th year, creating opportunities for young talent to grow. In fact, the share of young people aged 19 to 34 among all new hires has steadily increased, remaining above 70% for four consecutive years since 2022. CJ is leveraging its commerce capabilities to create immersive recruitment content that gives job seekers a closer look at prospective companies, roles and workplace environments. CJ Group’s in-house venture Shortnapse Studio and CJ ENM have collaborated to produce an interactive short-form drama that will premiere exclusively on TVING. Based on the choices they make, viewers can experience different roles and gain a deeper understanding of the companies they are considering applying to. CJ also plans to host an interactive recruitment information session using CJ ONSTYLE’s mobile live commerce (MLC) platform, enabling real-time communication with prospective applicants. Through its official YouTube channel, “CJ Careers,” CJ will release a diverse range of content designed to significantly expand engagement with job seekers. This includes “We Who Prove It,” featuring the growth stories of young CJ Talent, “Inside a Rookie’s Life,” offering practical tips on employee benefits, and “Cover Letter Reading Session” and “Interview Inside Out,” which share successful new hires’ cover letters and interview experiences from the perspective of job seekers. “We look forward to seeing strong interest and applications from young talent eager to grow at the forefront of the global K-lifestyle,” said Kim Dong-won, Director of HR at CJ Corporation. “Going forward, we will continue to strengthen the Group’s mid- to long-term competitiveness and drive future innovation with CJ Talent — ‘We Who Prove It’ — at the center, with those who proactively seek out new opportunities and prove themselves through results.” CJ recently ranked highly in employer preference surveys of job seekers and university students, receiving the highest share of responses for its promising future growth potential. CJ’s distinctive workplace culture and employee benefits were also cited as factors driving its popularity among younger job seekers. These include Korea’s first horizontal title system, which replaces hierarchical job titles with the respectful suffix “nim” after employees’ names. Employees also receive discounts across affiliate brands including OLIVE YOUNG, CJ THE MARKET, CGV, VIPS, OLIPEPE and TOUS les JOURS. “Creative Week” provides up to four weeks of personal development leave in employees’ third, fifth, seventh and tenth years of service. CJ also provides financial support for stays at resorts in Korea and hotels abroad.
