This PGA Tour stop in Dallas has a packed itinerary to bring K-culture to a global audience THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson logo THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson 2025 will take place over four days starting May 1 at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. As a full-field event on the official PGA Tour regular season, the tournament features 156 players competing for 500 FedEx Cup points, a two-year PGA Tour card and eligibility to compete in that year’s signature tournament. Building on last year’s success, THE CJ CUP will once again spotlight Korean cuisine through the Players’ Dining and bibigo concession stands. Notably, this year marks the debut of the HOUSE OF CJ — an immersive space where visitors can directly experience the depth of Korean culture and its global appeal. CJ Group previously participated as the title sponsor of “Korea House” at the Paris Olympics, going beyond supporting Team Korea to serve as a cultural ambassador by showcasing K-culture and cuisine to visitors from around the world. This year, the company is once again poised to play a key role in promoting K-culture globally through the HOUSE OF CJ at THE CJ CUP. THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson is set to be a global stage where players and fans can experience the essence of K-food and discover the bibigo brand Through the bibigo concession, CJ Group is offering golf fans from around the world a chance to enjoy a variety of Korean dishes, including bibigo’s signature mandu (Korean dumplings). The Players’ Dining experience will also return this year, with high expectations following the enthusiastic response in previous years. “The Players’ Dining was absolutely perfect — probably the best meal all year,” said 2024 champion, Taylor Pendrith. “It felt like a homemade meal, and it was incredibly delicious.” Another CJ brand, TOUS les JOURS (TLJ), will join the concession lineup this year, introducing golf fans to K-bakery and café culture, elevating the guest experience with breakfast pastries, desserts, coffee and smoothies and providing players with a unique and flavorful culinary touch throughout the tournament. With the HOUSE OF CJ, introduced at this year’s tournament, CJ Group will be taking its cultural showcase a step further, expanding its focus beyond just food to the broader world of K-culture. This experiential space highlights CJ’s diverse brands as well as the colorful elements of Korean life, offering visitors a unique and immersive cultural experience. Located in the Gallery Plaza, the HOUSE OF CJ features a striking and grand-scale design. With its visually captivating exterior, the space creates a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere, where visitors can enjoy a range of engaging experiences. At the HOUSE OF CJ, visitors can explore a bibigo mini concession, a beauty powder room by Olive Young, a music zone by CJ ENM, an immersive content experience with SCREENX and enjoy fresh samples from the TOUS les JOURS bakery. Adding to the cultural immersion, the HOUSE OF CJ will also offer cocktails made with traditional Korean liquors, giving guests the opportunity to explore K-liquor and discover how it pairs with Korean cuisine. “Last year, the tournament welcomed 160,000 visitors, and even more are expected to attend this year,” a CJ representative said. “With the debut of the HOUSE OF CJ, we hope fans will enjoy not just world-class golf, but also a rich experience of Korean cultural content.” Scottie Scheffler confirmed to compete in THE CJ CUP This year, Scottie Scheffler, currently ranked No.1 in the world, will compete in THE CJ CUP, setting his sights on the elaborate trophy inscribed with Hangeul, the Korean alphabet. Although he withdrew from last year’s tournament due to the birth of his child, Scheffler confirmed his participation early this year, reflecting his genuine enthusiasm and deep connection to the event. His ties to the tournament run even deeper as he played junior golf in Dallas and made his PGA Tour debut at THE CJ CUP. Scheffler has also frequently expressed admiration for Dallas-born golf legend Byron Nelson.
