During the ceremony, the company announced its vision to develop the city into ‘Live K-Content Experience Districts,’ offering a vivid experience of K-content as a global destination for the 100 million fans around the world.
CJ LiveCity aims to leverage Korea’s proud intellectual property (IP) across diverse sectors such as music, films, TV series, and entertainment shows. It strives to create a unique ‘Spatial experience of K-content’ that stands out as the first of its kind globally. This experience will offer Korea’s distinctive cultural content, integrating mixed-use cultural facilities throughout the space.
The Arena, Living Up To The K-Pop Reputation, Finally Lands In Korea
The ‘CJ LiveCity Arena,’ Korea’s representative music venue equipped with innovative technologies, will broaden the horizons of K-Pop performances and host shows featuring top global artists.
Designed for mega-scale concerts, with 20,000 indoor seats and 40,000 outdoor availabilities, the venue features a cutting-edge stage system that allows quick set-up and teardown for large-scale performances. It will host concerts and events in various genres for over 150 days a year.
CJ LiveCity Arena will benefit from collaboration with global leading partners. The Arena will be equipped with the most powerful live performance infrastructure in the world, including stage, sound, and lighting systems, drawing upon competencies in music and concert business gained from K-Pop events like MAMA and KCON.
