Leading entertainment company CJ ENM announced today the lineup for its Chicago KCON 2022 Premiere set to take place on May 20-21 at the Rosemont Theatre.
The World’s No.1 K-culture festival KCON will meet fans in Chicago for the first time with its KCON 2022 Premiere. The artist lineup includes (in alphabetical order):
- BTOB
- CRAVITY
- NMIXX
- STAYC
- TO1
The KCON festivities will continue as the the flagship K-culture festival KCON plans to return to LA in August for the first time in two years. Celebrating KCON since 2012 accumulating more than 710k fans in the U.S. alone, the much-anticipated festival will return stronger than ever with new content reflecting the trends of Gen Z fans and programs tailored for local fans. Signature fan favorite programming and panels unique to KCON from meet and greets to dance workshops will also return.
As one of the first adopters of the virtual concert experience, KCON will bring back its signature digital content from KCON:TACT for fans who cannot participate in person.

- ‘KCON 2022 Premiere’ in Seoul: May 7-8 at the CJ ENM center (Artist Lineup: HIGHLIGHT, MONSTA X, NiziU, NMIXX, STAYC, THE BOYZ, TO1, and artists from Mnet’s <QUEENDOM 2>: Brave Girls, HYOLYN, Kep1er, LOONA, VIVIZ, WJSN)
- KCON 2022 Premiere in Tokyo: May 14-15 at Makuhari Messe (Artist Lineup: INI, JO1)
- KCON 2022 Premiere in Chicago: May 20-21 at Rosemont Theatre (Artist Lineup: BTOB, CRAVITY, NMIXX, STAYC, TO1)
- KCON LA: August 19-21
- KCON JAPAN: October

First held in 2012 in the U.S., KCON played an instrumental role in spreading K-culture, amassing 1.1 million fans across 9 cities/regions including North America, Europe and Asia. From its first event in 2012 that attracted 10,000 visitors, KCON has seen an incredible growth gathering 291K visitors in 2019 (the last in-person event) which is 29 times its inaugural year audience. During the pandemic, its digital edition, KCON:TACT, met more than 22.45 million K-pop fans in the last two years, pushing the event’s boundaries even further as a virtual festival that enables fans to enjoy K-culture anywhere, anytime.
