CJ ENM Marks 30 Years with a record-breaking 65+ New Dramas & Variety Shows in 2025
As CJ ENM reaches a milestone of 30 years in cultural entertainment, the global IP powerhouse, has announced plans to release approximately 65 drama and entertainment programs in 2025 across its K-content channel tvN and its K-content streaming platform TVING. With its largest-ever investment, increasing by over 150 billion KRW (103.5 million USD) on top of the 1 trillion KRW (769.2 million USD) announced last year, the company aims to reinforce its commitment to content leadership.
On February 10, CJ ENM hosted “CJ ENM Content Talk 2025” at the CJ ENM Center in Seoul. The event featured Yoon Sang-hyun, CEO of CJ ENM, Park Sang-hyuk, Executive of CJ ENM’s Channel Business Division and Min Sun-hong, CCO of TVING, who presented CJ ENM’s 2025 content strategy, including the lineup for tvN and TVING.
“Over the past 30 years, CJ ENM has continuously innovated, expanding the diversity of content and genres while laying the foundation for Korea’s cultural industry,” said CEO Yoon Sang-hyun. “We will open a new chapter as a ‘K-Content Visionary,’ creating content that defines the times and makes a meaningful impact on people’s lives worldwide.” Yoon also stated, “We will innovate our production system and strengthen our competitive edge to create more content, take bolder creative risks and expand our reach in the global market.”
The comment aligns with CJ ENM’s declaration of 2025 as “the year of global expansion.” The company outlined a content strategy aimed at enhancing the global reach of its intellectual property (IP), which will be achieved by expanding in-house production and integrating AI-driven technological innovation to optimize its production process.

The event also featured the creators behind some of TVING’s highly anticipated 2025 releases, sharing insights into their projects and discussing the next chapter of K-content. Among the speakers were Kim Ryoon-hee (Chief Producer of “Typhoon Company”), Kim Ho-jun (Chief Producer of “Seocho-dong”), Lee Won-hyoung (Chief Producer of “Fresh Off the Sea”), Jeong Cheol-min (Producer of “Sixth Sense: City Tour”) and Kim In-ha (Producer of “EXchange”). They engaged in lively discussions, offering behind-the-scenes stories on their productions and exploring the future of K-content, capturing the audience’s attention.
As CJ ENM celebrates 30 years of cultural innovation, the company remains committed to creating content that resonates with audiences worldwide, shaping the future of storytelling and solidifying K-content’s place on the global stage. With a record-breaking investment in content, a bold vision for the future and a focus on expanding its reach beyond Korea, CJ ENM is poised to define the next era of entertainment.
