CJ Foods brings bibigo to Coles, enhancing K-food availability in Australia with further expansion planned for IGA in 2025 Seven bibigo products from CJ Foods are now available at Coles in Australia CJ Foods announced on November 11 that it will begin selling its bibigo products at Coles, the second-largest supermarket chain in Australia, continuing its expansion beyond its initial entry into Woolworths, the country’s largest supermarket chain, last year. CJ Foods has now secured more than half of the major distribution channels in Australia’s mainstream retail market, allowing customers to easily access bibigo products across the country.  The product lineup includes seven items, including three varieties of bibigo dumplings (Pork & Chives, Vegetable & Corn, and Kimchi), rice balls, bung-o-pang and corn dogs. The rice balls, bung-o-pang and corn dogs are particularly noteworthy as they are now being introduced into Australia’s mainstream distribution channels for the first time. These products are gaining increasing popularity overseas, driven by the growing interest in Korean sticky rice and K-street food. In addition, CJ Foods has confirmed its entry into IGA, Australia’s fourth-largest supermarket chain, early next year. After CJ Foods enters IGA, bibigo will be accessible in over 70% of the Australian grocery stores, with a combined total of 3,000 stores. Brand awareness and consumer experience of bibigo’s K-Food are expected to grow significantly. “With our latest entry into Coles, we are poised to further accelerate the expansion of K-food into new areas,” said Cha Eugene, Head of CJ Foods Oceania. “We will continue to enter major distribution channels to ensure that customers can enjoy bibigo products anywhere in Australia.” Oceania, including Australia, is a key region where CJ Foods is accelerating its expansion. Currently, bibigo products are being sold in major retail channels such as Woolworths and Costco in Australia, convenience store chain Ezymart, and New Zealand’s supermarket chains New World and PAK’nSAVE.
