As a leading logistics provider in the U.S., CJ Logistics America introduced several cutting-edge AI-based technologies at the largest supply chain exhibition in North America

As geopolitical risks continue to reshape global supply chains, CJ Logistics showcased advanced logistics solutions at North America’s largest logistics exhibition, which draws major industry players from around the world every year.
CJ Logistics’ U.S. subsidiary, CJ Logistics America (CJLA), successfully concluded its participation at MODEX 2026, held in Atlanta, Georgia, from April 13 to 16.
MODEX is North America’s largest industry exhibition dedicated to the latest logistics technologies and trends. This year, more than 1,100 companies participated, and about 50,000 industry stakeholders and experts from the manufacturing, distribution and logistics sectors attended.
At its booth, CJ Logistics introduced CJLA’s logistics operations and its global third-party logistics (3PL) services, which provide one-stop support across complex logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing and international freight forwarding. In particular, the company highlighted specialized cold chain solutions for refrigerated and frozen products, operated at its cold chain logistics centers in New Century, Kansas, and Gainesville, Georgia, drawing strong interest from manufacturers and distributors that require precise temperature control.
At the event, CJ Logistics also highlighted its “NextGen AI” operating system, which is designed to improve safety, productivity and accuracy at logistics centers. The system uses machine learning and generative AI software to analyze data collected through cameras and sensors, monitor worker movement and workflow in real time, and detect potential hazards and collision risks in advance — helping create a safer working environment while improving speed and accuracy.

CJ Logistics also unveiled its AI-based transportation management technology. The system improves transport stability by analyzing real-time data generated during transit, including sudden changes in speed and route deviations. Using real-time vehicle location and operational data, the system can also predict estimated times of arrival more accurately, provide customers with more reliable delivery information and support precise management across the transportation journey.
The company also highlighted its advanced logistics capabilities through automation equipment such as fixed-route automated guided vehicles (AGVs), which automatically transport pallets, and autonomous forklifts (AFLs), along with a real-time monitoring system providing an at-a-glance view of operations across the entire logistics process.
“As interest in supply chain management continues to grow globally among key industry players — including manufacturers, distributors and logistics companies — this exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase CJ Logistics’ differentiated integrated logistics solutions to the global market,” said Kevin Coleman, CEO of CJLA. “We will continue to enhance our technological capabilities and operational excellence to deliver high-quality logistics services and accelerate our expansion in the North American market.”
CJ Logistics established an early presence in the U.S. and has continued to expand its business amid strong logistics demand across industries including manufacturing, distribution and e-commerce. In 2020, the company launched CJ Logistics America as an integrated U.S. entity through the merger of CJ Logistics USA and DSC Logistics, a U.S.-based logistics company acquired in 2018. Through this integrated entity, CJ Logistics now operates more than 70 logistics centers across 17 U.S. states, providing comprehensive logistics services including warehousing, transportation management, logistics consulting and freight forwarding.
