CJ Freshway opens “Gourmet Bridge” at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2, blending modern innovation with traditional aesthetics to connect K-food with the world
CJ Freshway opened its premium food court, “Gourmet Bridge,” at Incheon International Airport. Located on the fourth floor of Terminal 2 (T2) on the east side, the food court spans 1,042 square meters and offers seating for 320 guests.
CJ Freshway plans to open a total of four “Gourmet Bridge” branches at Incheon International Airport by the end of the year. Following the launch of the first location, the Terminal 2 Central branch, three additional branches are scheduled to open in the second half of 2025. All four establishments will feature the “Gourmet Bridge” brand, collectively covering a total area of 4,909 square meters and accommodating up to 1,500 guests.
CJ Freshway aims to serve as a culinary gateway, connecting K-food with the world, with Incheon International Airport as its backdrop. The in-store restaurants will feature popular dishes that appeal to both Korean and international visitors, alongside a diverse menu that reimagines the essence of Korean cuisine in a modern and creative way.
The “Gourmet Bridge” Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 Central branch will feature six CJ Freshway-owned branded restaurants: Jayeon-dameun Hansang (Korean dinning), Yugsu Gojib (Korean-style broth soup), Guksujeong (Noodles), Basak Katsu (Pork cutlet), Bunsik Gotgan (Street food) and Burger Station. Operated through CJ Freshway’s concession business, these brands offer a wide range of options, including Korean dishes, Korean-style Western cuisine, traditional Western food and Korean street food.
The interior design is inspired by the theme of “windows,” symbolizing a space that reflects diverse visions and perspectives. The concept of the new store, “Window into the World,” seamlessly blends elements that reinterpret traditional Korean aesthetics while featuring a rooftop terrace that creates an immersive and inviting atmosphere.
Limited-time events were held to celebrate the opening of the branch. A CJ Freshway official stated, “Airports serve as a platform to introduce the value of K-food to a diverse range of travelers and represent an important business avenue for showcasing our corporate brand and service capabilities.” He continued, “We are committed to operating our locations in a way that offers travelers a healthy and enjoyable gourmet experience, leveraging the expertise we’ve gained through our concession business. Our goal is to enhance the convenience and satisfaction of airport users.”
