CJ Logistics has earned the ISO 13485 certification, ensuring medical products and devices are properly handled and delivered during the logistics process.
CJ Logistics, a leading global logistics company, has received ISO 13485 certification in an effort to expand its medical logistics capacities.
ISO 13485 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for a quality management system for the medical device industry. As medical devices are closely related to human life and health, they require a high degree of care when handling.
“Obtaining ISO 13485 certification shows CJ Logistics’ commitment to meet the highest standards in medical device logistics,” said Jang Young-ho, director of Forwarding at CJ Logistics. “We aim to accelerate medical logistics by handling pharmaceuticals and bio products with our exceptional logistics services.”
Meanwhile, CJ Logistics Japan became the first Korean company in Japan to obtain ISO certifications for upholding strict quality, environment, safety and health standards at the end of last month.
