TOUS les JOURS officially enters the Malaysian market with its first store in a major Kuala Lumpur shopping mall
On June 4, CJ Foodville announced the launch of its premium bakery brand, TOUS les JOURS, in Malaysia. TOUS les JOURS Sunway Pyramid, a new store situated in a major shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will be the first store launched under the master franchise (MF) agreement signed in January with local partner Stream Empire Holdings.
TOUS les JOURS Sunway Pyramid, spanning approximately 200 square meters, is located on the second floor of Sunway Pyramid, a large multi-purpose shopping mall in the Malaysian capital. Designed as a premium bakery café, the store features a finely curated selection of TOUS les JOURS’ signature baked goods, aiming to further establish its identity as the leading K-bakery in the Malaysian market.
TOUS les JOURS announced that it will bring its “Total K-bakery” concept to the Malaysian market, offering a wide variety of authentic Korean-style breads and cakes. In addition to long-time bestsellers—such as pastries and cream cakes beloved in Korea and abroad—the store’s well-rounded lineup includes sandwiches made with hearty breads and a selection of beverages, thoughtfully tailored to suit local tastes.
TOUS les JOURS’ successful expansion in neighboring Indonesia is also a positive factor for establishing a foothold in the Malaysian market. CJ Foodville plans to leverage its existing production facility in Indonesia to create strong synergies across various aspects of its Malaysian operations, including logistics and overall business management. Building on this foundation, the company also plans to open an additional store in June at the Sunway Velocity Mall, another major shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur.
The interior design of TOUS les JOUR Sunway Pyramid features beige-toned wood materials, generating a modern, bright atmosphere that allows people to linger and relax for a longer time. Additionally, a front-facing showcase and an open, spacious layout induces greater customer engagement and interaction.
