Olive Young is expanding its W CARE program with more products, services and promotions to support women’s health and wellness Customers try out products from the W CARE Zone in Olive Young Gangnam Town CJ Olive Young is broadening its range of women’s health products, further strengthening its offerings in the feminine wellness category through the expansion of its W CARE program. The health and beauty retailer’s W CARE product line, which stands for “We,” “Woman” and “Wellness,” consists of four categories. “W Balance” includes essential menstrual products such as sanitary pads and panty liners, while “W Cleansing” covers intimate care products like feminine washes and inner perfumes. “W Wear” features comfortable undergarments, including seamless underwear, women’s trunks and more. Since its launch in November 2022, the W CARE lineup has grown significantly, expanding from 3,700 products to approximately 18,000 by 2025 — a fivefold increase in just over two years.   Building on this growth, CJ Olive Young is further broadening the subcategories of its W CARE product line to offer more personalized solutions to meet diverse individual needs. For example, sanitary products have been segmented into pads, menstrual cups and tampons, allowing customers to choose based on their menstrual cycle and activity level. The underwear category has also been expanded to include not only loungewear and sportswear but also nipple patches.  To enhance the shopping experience, CJ Olive Young is introducing product sampling stations at its larger stores, catering to those who prefer to try before they buy. Notably, the Wellness Edit Zone at Olive Young N Seongsu, which opened in November last year, has received enthusiastic customer feedback for providing a dedicated space to explore and experience a variety of brands, including loungewear and sportswear. Beyond product offerings, CJ Olive Young promotes feminine wellness through its W CARE Service, available on the Olive Young Korean app. This includes the “Smart Cycle Prediction” system, developed in collaboration with obstetricians and gynecologists, which provides users with accurate menstrual cycle tracking. Another key feature is “W Solution,” a consultation platform that curates common feminine health concerns and provides responses from medical experts alongside personalized product recommendations.     “Our goal is to support women in embracing both beauty and wellness — not just during their menstrual cycles but throughout their daily lives,” a CJ Olive Young representative said. “To achieve this, we plan to further enhance the service while expanding our product categories to include health supplements such as probiotics, vitamins and inositol, which supports hormonal balance.”
