CJ OliveNetworks is introducing new applications for its AI voice cloning technology, offering a unique experience to exhibition visitors Leading digital service company CJ OliveNetworks is creating a new art exhibition experience, tapping into voice cloning technology to offer AI voice docent services with Gallery BK. Voice cloning is a speech synthesis technology that can analyze and automatically generate individual voices using AI algorithms. After AI studies the voice, it can then produce the target voice through text input. This technology makes it possible to automatically create various types of voice formats such as AI speakers, narration and Automated Response System(ARS) in a short time without additional input. Since July, CJ OliveNetworks has been collaborating with Gallery BK, which showcases contemporary art at its galleries in Hannam and Itaewon, to offer AI voice cloning technology at exhibitions. The gallery joins with promising contemporary artists to promote artistic experimentation through exhibitions and cultural academies as well as art fairs in South Korea and overseas. The first AI voice docent service provided to Gallery BK was debuted at “Beyond Horizon,” South Korea’s largest physical art and NFT exhibition presented in partnership with Crypto.com. The AI voice docent service was applied to the event’s introduction in addition to certain art pieces at the exhibition.  Currently, the CJ OliveNetworks’ AI voice docent technology is featured in the “Everyday Gleaning” exhibition by artist Lee Mi-Joo as well as the introduction of “Tinted Grey” exhibition by artist Cho Hae-young. The exhibitions will be open at Gallery BK Hannam through October 11. In the future, CJ OliveNetworks plans to introduce various virtual human AI docents by converging face generation, a virtual face generation technology, with voice cloning capabilities.
