CJ Logistics seeks to prioritize employee wellness through a customized health care benefit for over 20,000 of its delivery personnel CJ Logistics announced that the company has successfully provided this year’s complementary medical check-ups for over 20,000 drivers. In addition to the basic annual health screening provided by the South Korean government, CJ Logistics’ drivers are offered extra medical examinations every two years, which include more than 60 screening tests for diabetes, kidney disease, liver fibrosis, liver function and more. CJ Logistics is currently building a systematic follow-up process based on the medical exam results. Further examinations will be provided should the drivers belong to a “high-risk” group. Even if a driver is not classified as high-risk, a phone counseling service will be provided three times a year. The On-site Visiting Service is operated in conjunction with 23 Employee Health Centers across the country and CJ Logistics. Medical professionals are dispatched to the workplace for in-person services, forming the basis in which delivery personnel may receive free counseling services ranging from general health to musculoskeletal disease prevention.
