CJ CheilJedang has expanded the lineup of ALTIVE, its proprietary range of plant-based alternative beverage products that includes vegan coffee and brown rice-based protein milk. Launched in June last year, ALTIVE was developed through CJ CheilJedang’s in-house food venture program, INNO 100.
The product lineup includes ALTIVE Original, ALTIVE Barista and ALTIVE Vegan Coffee. ALTIVE Original is a blend of brown rice and pea protein that provides high protein and calcium, with Korean brown rice base added to enhance its flavor. ALTIVE Barista is a plant-based milk alternative developed specially for cafes to make a moderately smooth texture in lattes. ALTIVE Vegan Coffee uses alternative sugars – including allulose and steviol glycosides – for a sweet flavor without the need for milk fat, lactose or sugar.
ALTIVE products are designed to be ideal alternatives for milk in all situations, providing great taste and nutrition, while their plant-based ingredients make them more sustainable than dairy options.
