CJ Corporation announced that the company has pledged 300 million won(240K USD) to extend assistance to the victims affected by the recent earthquake in Turkiye.
The donated fund will be disbursed through the Community Chest of Korea and directed towards assisting with local relief and recovery efforts.
A spokesperson for the CJ Corporation remarked “We extend our heartfelt condolences and support to the people of Turkiye, who are facing the daunting challenge of recovering from the country’s humanitarian crisis. CJ will continue to engage with our partners and communities to provide support for those impacted by the disaster.”
Currently, the CJ Corporation is operating its global logistics affiliate CJ Logistics in Turkiye and has also entered the CJ CGV movie theater business.
