CJ Corporation has officially begun its biannual entry-level recruitment and selection process for the Fall 2022 season, aiming to secure talented entry-level individuals who will lead future lifestyle industries including food, biotechnology, logistics and entertainment.
Participating subsidiaries includes CJ CheilJedang, CJ ENM, CJ Logistics, CJ Freshway, CJ Foodville, CJ CGV, and so forth.
During this season, CJ plans to recruit more entry-level employees than in the first half of the year in an effort to secure its largest number of new talents since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The decision to expand its recruitment size to attract more candidates reflects CJ’s “Talent First” philosophy.
Applicants who pass document screening will undergo several rounds including written exams, interviews and an internship at their assigned subsidiary. Successful candidates will then officially join the company in January 2023. Considering current and on-going COVID-19 precautions, most of the recruitment process will be performed online. However, each subsidiary will run campus recruiting sessions in-person at the leading universities in Korea along with online events to expand communication opportunities with prospective candidates.
CJ announced its mid-term vision focused on their four major growth engines – C.P.W.S. (Culture, Platform, Wellness and Sustainability) – in November 2021, emphasizing the importance of acquiring exceptional talent and revolutionizing corporate culture. Since the announcement, various forward-thinking systems have been introduced and implemented such as substantial compensation for outstanding performance, remote offices that promote a relaxing work atmosphere, flexible working days and the removal of hierarchical barriers.
