bibigo, the global No. 1 Korean food brand of CJ Foods, has been honored at the International Forum (iF) Design Award 2025, a renowned German international design competition. bibigo received recognition in the Communication category for its refreshed visual identity, including a new logo and updated product packaging introduced in February 2024.
The new bibigo logo, inspired by a Korean “bapsang” (traditional dining table), symbolizes the joy and connection that comes from sharing food. It reflects the brand’s “Live Delicious” philosophy, emphasizing the power of food to enrich lives – whether it’s a quick bite between meetings or a festive gathering.
Following the brand refresh, CJ Foods launched a series of online and offline campaigns under the slogan “Live Delicious” to engage with global Gen-Z consumers. During the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, the company set up a bibigo Zone booth at the Korea House, organized by the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. The booth, featuring the brand’s new visuals, offered popular Korean dishes such as tteokbokki, kimchi, dumplings, rice balls and corn dogs. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with 500 servings prepared daily selling out in an average of just four hours.
“We are honored to receive recognition from one of the world’s most prestigious design awards,” said CJ Foods CMO Stephan Czypionka. “bibigo will continue to share its unique values and stories with consumers worldwide through delicious Korean food.”
The iF Design Award is considered one of the top three global design awards, alongside the Red Dot Design Award and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). Entries are evaluated across nine categories, including Product, Packaging, Communication, User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) and Concept, based on criteria such as design innovation and impact.
